These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the World Food Trucks ("we," "us," "our") internal payment processing system, which includes services provided by third-party providers such as Plaid and Stripe. By using our system, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our internal payment system, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our system.

These Terms are intended for use within our organization and by our vendors ("you," "vendor"). Our payment system is not available for public use and is restricted to authorized users.

2. Purpose

Our payment system is used internally to process vendor payments and fees. We utilize third-party services, including Plaid and Stripe, to facilitate these transactions.

3. Vendor Accounts

Vendors must provide accurate and complete information during the onboarding process. This includes verifying bank account details via Plaid.

We reserve the right to review and verify any information provided. If any information is found to be inaccurate or fraudulent, we may suspend or terminate your access to the system.

4. Payment Processing

All vendor payments are processed in-house using the World Food Trucks system, which integrates with Plaid and Stripe. Vendors will not be charged by World Food Trucks directly; however, all fees, dues, and transactions will be processed using these third-party providers.

Vendors are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds in the linked bank accounts to cover any authorized charges. By linking your account through Plaid, you authorize us to process transactions using Stripe for the collection of fees or other approved charges.

5. Security and Data Privacy

We take data security seriously and comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding the privacy and security of personal and financial data.

  • Plaid: By linking your account via Plaid, you consent to Plaid’s privacy policy and authorize us to access and retrieve your financial information securely.

  • Stripe: All payment transactions are processed through Stripe. You agree to Stripe’s privacy policy and terms as part of this process.

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no system is entirely immune to risks. By using our system, you acknowledge that any transmission of data carries inherent risks.

6. Restrictions on Use

Our internal system may only be used for the purpose of processing payments related to vendor fees and obligations. The following actions are prohibited:

  • Misusing the system to process unauthorized transactions

  • Providing false or misleading information during account setup or transactions

  • Attempting to circumvent security protocols or access unauthorized data

  • Using the system for any illegal or unauthorized purposes

Violations of these restrictions may result in termination of access to the system and possible legal action.

7. Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to your use of our payment processing system. This includes, but is not limited to, financial regulations and data privacy laws.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

We strive to maintain the accuracy and functionality of our payment system; however, we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, World Food Trucks disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our payment processing system, including but not limited to any errors or failures in transactions processed through Plaid or Stripe.

You acknowledge and agree that World Food Trucks is not responsible for the actions of third-party service providers, including Plaid and Stripe.

9. Modifications to the Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly.

You are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically. Continued use of our system after modifications have been posted will constitute your acceptance of the changes.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the payment system at our discretion, particularly in the event of a breach of these Terms or misuse of the system.
