Chique Burger features Venezuelan food, like the pepito. The pepito is kind of like a hoagie, and begins with a bread base. There are 6 ingredients, like ham, chicken, beef, lettuce, cheese, tomato, and even potato chips! You first lay down some cheese, then top it with the meat. The meat is usually drizzled with some garlic sauce and ketchup for some extra flavor. Lettuce and tomato can finish it off, or you can try out the potato “chip” trick, which is essentially just like putting French fries inside your sandwich! How awesome is that!? They will then roll up the sandwich, cut it at an angle, and serve it up on a nice little plate for you. When you eat it, it’s recommended to try out their special house made cheese sauce, which gives that extra kick, without being too overpowering.
Speaking of cheese, another item you’ll find in the Chique Burger Food Truck are their tequeños, which are Venezuelan cheese sticks. You roll dough and top it with a frying or white cheese before frying until they are golden brown – basically like you would do a regular cheese stick! Their famous burgers are pretty fun too – the “classic” features beef, sliced ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, an egg, and of course, the potatoes. The “Zacata” has beef (stuffed with ham and cheese), avocado, bacon, ham, white cheese, lettuce, tomato and potato strips. If you’re not a burger person, try their hot dog which features pork, yellow onion, cabbage, mayo, mustard, ketchup, and potato chips, all nestled inside a potato hot dog roll. Yum!
